TrailerLock.com is an independent guide to trailer security for boat, utility, cargo, RV, horse and gooseneck owners.

How we choose products

• We read manufacturer specifications, fit charts and installation manuals.
• We compare materials, lock mechanisms, weather protection and warranty terms.
• We look for patterns in owner reports and reviews, not single opinions.
• We list prices as approximate ranges from maker sites and recheck them regularly.

We have not lab-tested these locks, and we do not publish invented test scores or star ratings. When we add hands-on photos and testing, we will say exactly what we did.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any lock maker. This domain was used years ago by an unrelated company; we have no connection to JME Products or the Trailer Keeper brand.

Plans

We plan to add our own photos of locks fitted to real couplers and to note exactly how any hands-on checks were done. Until then, nothing on this site claims testing we have not done.
